DAY 01: ARRIVAL PHNOM PENH

  • Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder!
  • Upon arrival, you will meet our tour guide and driver transfer to check in hotel store luggage. Today visitors find a bustling, multicultural city at the confluence of the historic Mekong, Tonle Sap and BassacRivers. Phnom Penh has many places of exceptional interest for those with time enough to appreciate the city's attractions.
  • We will start to visit the Royal Palace, the incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts. We end our city tour with visit to Wat Phnom pagoda before shopping at the Russian market. In the evening, enjoy 01 hour boat cruise on MekongRiver to explore night life of local.

DAY 02: PHNOM PENH – BATTAMBANG (B)

  • Today we will depart from Phnom Penh to Battambang province by private Bus. Battambang is a province of Cambodia that is nestled in the northwest of the country and bordered with Thailand. Known as the largest rice-producing province, its economy lies heavily on the agricultural industry. Once there, you will have chance to explore the Angkorian temples nearby the town where serves as a nice base during your visiting. 
  • Upon arrival check in hotel then our Battambang city tour by visit Sangker Riverbank then continue to Phnom Banan: is a mountaintop, 11 century Angkorian ruin consisting of five temples and peaceful location with a nice view of the area.
  • Overnight in Battambang 

DAY 03: BATTAMBANG (B)

  • After breakfast, visit Phnom Sambov: Mountain, steeped in legend, and topped by Wat Sampeou and a group of caves used as “Killing caves”by the Khmer Rouge. And visit Ek Phnom: is an 11th century Angkorian ruin built as a Hindu temple under Suryavarman 1. The rest of day, is your own chance to explore more about local standard living nearby the river.

DAY 04: BATTAMBANG SIEM REAP (B)

  • Today we will leave from Battambang to Siem Reap by land transfer along the way you may visit some local villages, upon arrival check in hotel. In the afternoon, we will enter the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple and marvel the wonders of the eerie Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and terrace of Leper King. Afterwards, we continue to visit Ta Prohm temple, shrouded in jungle and left just it was founded by French explorers in 1850s. Enjoy the super view of sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill.
  • Overnight in Siem Reap 

DAY 05: SIEM REAP -  ANGKOR WAT (B)

  • After breakfast, we will spend about half hour journey to reach Banteay Srey, one of the most unusual temples of Angkor, Cambodia. It lies 20 km due north of the main group. It is built largely of red sandstone, which is covered with elaborate and deeply carved decoration. Banteay Samre: built in the third quarter of the 12th century. It consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and accompanied by two libraries, the southern most of which is remarkably well preserved. Two concentric walls enclosed the ensemble. 
  • In the afternoon, visit the Angkor Wat Temple. The architectural master piece was built in the 12th century, took 30 years to complete and represents the Khmer civilization at its grandest. Covering 81 hectares, it is one of the largest religious monuments ever built. Angkor Wat (the biggest Hindu temple in the world and the one of the largest religious monument in the world, built in between the 9th – 13th century, its general view are five ancients towers’ figure that embroidered or printed to the Kingdom of Cambodia’s Flag now.
  • Overnight in Siem Reap 

DAY 06: SIEM REAP – CITY TOUR (B)

  • After breakfast, we plan to visit some of the temples which form part of the Rolous Group Temples located just outside Siem Reap. The temples date back to the late ninth century and are believed to denote the beginning of the ‘classic period’ in Khmer architecture. If time available, we will visit Bakong orphanage center there before returning to Siem Reap. 
  • This afternoon, we will set out for a cruise on beautiful Tonle Sap Lake, passing a floating village and seeing the daily life of local people there. Floating village at Tonle SapLake (The Great Lake): place where people is living on the lake, have school, market, and the child sale fruit along the lake.
  • Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 07: TRIP CONCLUDES (B)

  • Enjoy your final day in Cambodia by exploring Siem Reap on your own. Bargain for silk scarves or shadow puppets at Psar Chas, the Old Market, or relax into a wicker chair in a sidewalk café. We will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home, wishing you bon voyage and hoping that you enjoyed your journey with KTR Travel!
