Day 01: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL Siem Reap Arrival

  • Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder!
  • Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will transfer to your hotel for check-in. After getting settled in to the hotel, your guide will have a briefing about your coming trip. You will also have time to rest and relax.
  • Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 02: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TEMPLE COMPLEX (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we are off on the first part of our cycling day. We pass Prasat Kravan and Sra Srang before we get to the jungle temple of Ta Prohm where we will spend an hour exploring this fascinating temple overgrown with trees. We then pass Ta Keo and through the Victory gate to the Angkor Thom complex. In Angkor Thom we see the fabulous Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the Royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King. That afternoon we visit the famous Angkor Wat and wonder at the base relief carvings, and the reflection of main towers in the moat.

Day 03: SIEM REAP – KBAL SPEAN BANTEAY SREI (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we will cycle to Kbal Spean passing villages, schools and through rice fields along the way. To get to the river of a thousand lingas, we then walk about 30 minutes up the hill. We can see the carvings in the riverbed, and also the nearby waterfall. Then we cycle back to Banteay Srei Temple, which is known for its pink sandstone and deep, intricate carvings. The carvings here, many in 3D format, are said to be so delicate that only a lady could have carved them. We then cycle to and from the temple takes you past some lovely lush scenery and small Khmer villages. This will be the highlight of many peoples cycling journey.

Day 04: SIEM REAP – SAMBOR PREI KOK – KOMPONG THOM (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we will transfer to the Hindu temple complex of Sambor Prei Kuk was established in the early 6th century AD at the city of Isanapura, the capital city of the Raja Isanavaram. Upon arrival at the point of Sambo Prei Kuk’s entrance gate, where we will start riding to main site. Picnic lunch and go on to explore temples till transfer back to Kompong Thom the second largest province in Cambodia and It's situated about half-way between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and thus most travelers will only rush through on there transfer between these to major attractions.

Day 05: KOMPONG THOM – PHNOM PENH (B)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we will continues to transfer by private car to Phnom Penh Capital where visitors find a bustling, multicultural city at the confluence of the historic Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac Rivers. Phnom Penh has many places of exceptional interest for those with time enough to appreciate the city's attractions.      
  • In the afternoon, we will take an excursion to Killing Fields, the infamous camp was the site of mass executions under the Khmer Rouge and is now a memorial to its thousands of victims. Next proceed to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the site is a former high school which was used as the Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the communist Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979.

Day 06: PHNOM PENH – CITY TOUR (B)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we will continue to visit the Royal Palace facing the Mekong River, and its adjoining Silver Pagoda built in 1962 famous for its lavish decorations of silver paved floor and several Buddha statues made from precious metals & stones. Royal Palace: where is our king house as well as the monument for the government do the national ceremony. Silver Pagoda is the pagoda which in the Royal Palace campus, where have thousand of silver tiles on the floor of pagoda and have the biggest golden Buddha statue. Silver Pagoda is in the Royal Palace Compound made of 5000 silver tiles. National Museum, is a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts. We end our city tour with visit to Wat Phnom pagoda before shopping at the Russian market. In the evening, enjoy 01 hour boat cruise on MekongRiver to explore night life of local.
  • Overnight in Phnom Penh

 Day 07: UDONG MOUTAIN by CYCLING (B, L, D)

  • Today, we will ride to an abandoned Royal Cities of Cambodia, UdongMountain or Phnom Preah Reach Troup (Hill of the Royal Fortune). After arrival, we climb up the mountain to view an excellent countryside view. There are many stupas of the ancient king on the top of the mountain, one of the new stupas contain eyebrow hairs and a piece of bone from Buddha himself. Picnic lunch and free for your own activities and return to Phnom Penh in the late afternoon.

Day 08: PHNOM PENH – KIRIROM NATIONAL PARK (B, L, D)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we cycle down highway No.4 to Chambok Community-based Ecotourism site lies at the border of KiriromNational Park in Kompong Speu province. It boasts a beautiful 40 meter high waterfall, which can be reached via a 3 km nature trail. The site serves as a model for best practice in community based ecotourism in Cambodia. You will experience a taste of ‘real’ Cambodia, traveling by ox cart to visit local beauty spots and village homes as well as relaxing at our stunning purpose-built venue, created using raw materials that reflect the beauty of the surrounding area.
  • Late afternoon, we will reach Chambork Community, the activity we will do in Chambork is trekking, hiking, bird watching, animal tracking or visiting a bat cave, swimming in the stream or riding a bicycle Picnicking or enjoy the local food, Experiencing Cambodian rural lifestyle on an ox-cart, buying local handicrafts. Dinner will cook by local in the community.

Day 09: KIRIROM – SIHANOUK VILLE (B L, D)

  • Early in the morning we go for a walk to see birds, a 40m high waterfall, and a variety of plants and animals while walking through the forest. The incredible nature and landscapes here are truly breathtaking. Then we get ready to continue our cycling to Sihanouk Ville. There will be some transfer by support vehicle in places to avoid heavy traffic. Upon arrival, check in hotel and free at your own leisure. In the evening, enjoy dinner in local restaurant with Khmer cuisines cook with seafood.

Day 10: FREE & EASY (B)

  • After breakfast at hotel, you will have free time for optional leisure activities. For daytrips you can go to BambooIsland, or take a boat trip to any of the off-shore islands. Water sports include SCUBA diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing and many other activities. Or u can just relax on the beach, or explore the town on your own. You may also want to check out the nightlife and bar scene in town and on Victory Hill.

Day 11: SIHANOUK VILLE – REAM NATIONAL PARK (B, L)

  • After breakfast at hotel, we then will cycle to visit ReamNational Park is 18 kilometers from downtown Sihanouk Ville, towards Phnom Penh to the park entrance. The park covers 15,000 hectares of land and 6,000 hectares of marine habitat. There are 155 species of birds in the park including a few threatened species. After picnic lunch, we will ride back to Sihanouk Ville and the rest of day is your own activities.

Day 12: SIHANOUK VILLE – PHNOM PENH (B)

  • Half day morning, free at leisure till guide and driver will pick you up to transfer directly to Phnom Penh which spending around 04 hours approximately.

Day 13: TRIP CONCLUDES (B)

  • Enjoy your final day in Cambodia by exploring Phnom Penh on your own. Bargain for silk scarves or shadow puppets at Russian Market, or relax into a wicker chair in a sidewalk café. We will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home, wishing you bon voyage and hoping that you enjoyed your journey with KTR Travel!
